JCRT is now running and functioning properly after a long "illness".  It is also no longer being blocked by Google for allegedly harboring "malware."

The problems with access you have noted from your Mozilla Firefox browser, or by doing a Google search, seems to have originated from a hacking attack on May 18 as part of the wave of compromised sites, PCs, and servers known as the "Gumblar worm".  JCRT was only one of thousands of other sites, mainly commercial, that was affected.

Post-mortem on the Gumblar attack, which came from Chinese servers, indicates that many of competent tech people were not able to recognize the symptoms or the cure for Gumblar's security-breaching insertion of malware.  Finally, after weeks of bad advice from numerous tech experts on how to clean up the site and satisfy Google, we found a "savior" in Tom Raef, who used to work for the University of Chicago.
